HALO members came out in force on Sunday at Clumber Park and as a result finished 11th in the Robin Hood Trophy Team Competition. In years gone by HALO have been competitive in this Competition but few expected such a result this past weekend. Amongst the CST small clubs HALO finished 2nd behind our main YHOA nemesis EPOC, but more importantly 27 points ahead of local rivals LOG, who were competing on their doorstep. So one up to HALO with the LCS and LUL to come!
There were a number of outstanding performances notably:
George Van Dam – 1st Light Green and 1st M14A
Brian Ward – 2nd Blue and 1st M40S (runningup on Short Course)
John Butler – 4th Very Short Green and 2nd M70S
Emma Van Dam – 6th Yellow and 4th W10A
Helen Smith – 1st W35L
Amanda Ward – 2nd W50S
Isoldt Harris – 1st W55S
