Travel and parking | LATEST ADDITIONS TO DETAILS - THURSDAY 23/06/2022 Event Centre, toilets and Chase Download is at Victoria Dock Village Hall, on South Bridge Rd., at Hull HU9 1TL, The parking here is sparse. Temporary parking for loos only. Parking (£1 donation, have it ready please) is at Victoria Dock Primary School, South Bridge Road, 500m West of The Village Hall. Other parking is at 'THE DEEP' (£3 for 6 hours 6am-6pm) The Tower Street Car Park at HU1 4DP on the East side of The River Hull, is now not available (FILM CREW ONLY) |
Entry details | There is no registration point. Issues regarding entries must be voiced at the start. Collect hire cards at the start. Issues will be dealt with at the DOWNLOAD. Downloading to be done after any issues are resolved. Fees £10 adults juniors £5. No Entries on the day. There is a discount for entering both weekend events! Please Note: Fabian 4 allows you to select a Start Time - this may be adjusted in order that runners on the same course do not start at the same time. Facilities | Toilets at the Village Hall (you can drive to the loos prior to parking). There are public toilets at the Prologue Start. Use the bag drop at the event centre tents for the afternoon event. Both races use a 'punching' Start and 'punching' Finish. The Prologue. The Hull Old Town will be used for the Prologue, 10.30. The Prologue start is 750m West of the school car park. A warm-up map with route to Start can be collected at The School from the parking marshal. There is no need to visit the event centre prior to your 1st run, although you are most welcome to do so if you wish. Please carry your car keys. Download is at the finish. Please download asap. The Chase Use the bag drop at the event centre for the afternoon event. 2 HALO tents can accommodate bags. Other tents are allowed - they will be supervised by HALO. Starting at 2pm-ish, (participants with the longest prologue times go 1st). Individual start times will be sequenced, please queue as directed. We will post the calculated times at the Village Hall asap prior to 2pm. The Start Lane is 300m West of the Village Hall.

Starts | Prologue - 10.30 to 12 in Hull Old Town, near Victoria Pier. Chase - 2pm approx. 300m West of Victoria Dock Village Hall. On moving to the Event Centre, Victoria Dock Village Hall, to drop your bags, you must not deviate from South Bridge Road, North or South, as it is the competition area for the Chase. Do not go NE from the pub and shops. |
Courses | Those who have run here previously will know that at the Southern end of the Marina there are 2 lock gates and a road bridge. The road bridge is often swiveled (OOB) to allow sailing vessels to enter the Marina. One Lock gate footpath will always be accessible to pedestrians. Saturdays are always busy so please be aware of others, cafe areas and some traffic moving relatively slowly. There are 32 controls on Course A Chase. Early dibbers record 30 dibs only. There's no room on the maps for control descriptions, loose ones only. We can tape yours to your arm at the start if you do not have 'a holder'.
