Travel and parking

TRAVEL  From the North A164 and M62.A63 cross the Humber Bridge. 

Card payment only through the toll booths. 

If you use the 'TAG Lane' your car registration will be read.

The fee will then have to be paid online within 3 days.  See the regulations at:-

From the South use the M180 turning North at the A15 dual carriageway, exit at the B1218 which brings you onto 'Brigg Road' which lead to Baysgarth Park, Barton at DN18 6AH (Nearest)

PARKING is on the streets and Public car parks. 

The East side of Brigg Road, next the Baysgarth Park, is regularly used for parking by local people - it is then a short walk along the outskirts of The Park to Assembly at Baysgarth House Museum.

 

Baysgarth Park hosts a PARKRUN hence the later start times. 

We will place 'controls' for the event in Baysgarth Park from 10am, after which the Park will be

OUT OF BOUNDS until your start time - apart from the registration and toilets.

Access to Registration will be via The Baysgarth House Museum Car Park Entrance only - which is at the north eastern corner of the park.

The toilet block is within the competition area,  Please follow the signed route around the Museum. 

The route to Start will be signed and is 250m from Registration up Caistor Road.

Entry details

Enter via HERO on the HALO website. 

You will have to register there if you have not yet used the system.

Fees £10 adult; £5 juniors; Families 2x2 £25.  Dibber hire - standard £1; SIAC £3.

Please select a start block and keep to that on the day for the smooth running of the event.

If you are a HALO member and willing to help please tick the helper box,  the organiser will then contact you in due course.

Facilities

There is a toilet block in the park near Registration is in part of the competition area - there will be a taped route from Registration. Please do not proceed from the toilets directly to the Start or stray from the taped route. You will need to go back to Registration and thence onto the Start by Caistor Road.

Other toilets can be found at Tescos DN18 5BH (nearest) and Barton Waterfront DN18 5BE.

Please do not use the toilets in the nearby Leisure Centre as this is in the competition area.

We will erect a tent as a bag-drop for those without a vehicle.

Course F leaves the park and crosses two roads (one busy). Competitors aged under 16 will have to be accompanied by an adult.

Course G stays within the park.

 

All courses, except course G, make use of open parkland and a complex housing estate. Longer courses (A/B and C ) venture into the town itself.
