The best approach from the West is from Walkington Village, Straight on at the traffic lights, a few bends and a cattle grid, then next left road fork.

Parking on Walkington Road verge (North Side).  Keep within 15 metres of the roadside and visualize a slip-proof exit before parking.  Seek out the Green Pop-up tent for enquiries and DOWNLOAD.

Start is 200m diagonally across the grassy area towards the wooded area.

Facilities

1 Portable Loo.  Other loos are in Market Weighton (public toilets),

Portable Euroloos at the back of BP fuel Budgens (at junction A1079 & A1035 round-about)

The Golf Club Restaurant is open for Sunday lunch 'til 4pm  Booking is essential. 1km from assembly.

 Due to the expected weather conditions it ls likely that any descents will be made somewhat difficult, whether caused by ice or mud. Please ensure you have all the appropriate cold weather gear on and your footwear is up to the task. 

As we have no heated facilities at this location it would be advisable to have a warm drink with you for after your run.
