Best wishes go to John Butler for a speedy recovery. He broke his left ankle at the Club Night on Monday February 6th. His leg is now in plaster and he can only get around on crutches. And as he can’t get his trousers on, we won’t be seeing him outside anytime soon. Our sympathies probably need to be as much with Lynda as they are with John! Orienteering wise it couldn’t have happenned at a worse time for John as we are now moving into the busy period with the East Riding Schools Competitions and the Humberside Police Lifestyle Challenge, both of which John has masterminded on behalf of HALO. Hopefully it will give an opportunity for other members to get involved with these worthwhile projects and allow John the proper recuperation that he needs.
