The LUL starts this year on Thursday 23rd June in Lincoln (Boultham Park and environs). Those familiar with the Lincoln parkrun will know the area well. The original map used for the LCS in 2014 has been extended to encompass the adjacent urban terrain so it will be a mix of park and street navigation. The second event will be at Bottesford (S of Scunthorpe) on June 30th this replaces Caistor which hopefully now will be 21st July if our new map has been completed. Other events are Brigg (newly exytended) on July 14th, Grantham July 7th and Washingborough July 28th.
There are 3 courses : Short approx 2k, Medium approx 4k and Long approx 6k.
This ia also a team competition HALO v LOG – the rules of which are equally complicated as the LCS – so shall not bore you now. The best 3 runs out of 6 count towards the individual prizes.
So in summary the fixtures are:
Boultham Park June 23rd
Bottesford June 30th
Grantham July 7th
Brigg July 14th
Caistor July 21st
Washingborough July 28th
