23/02/2013 Beverley Westwood

Report
Around 50 people took part on the ever popular, Beverley Westwood, on Saturday. This included a very good turn out from neighbours EBOR. All were greeted with much more pleasant weather conditions than the forecasts had suggested. In fact there was sunshine for most of the event.
The conditions did deteriorate when we were packing away, as the forecast snow showers arrived late. Many thanks to John, Paul, George (where's Ringo when you need him), Ken, Helena, Mary and Matt who hung around in the cold until everybody had finished and helped collect controls in and pack all the equipment away. Thanks also to Jackie, who in her first event as a full member also helped on Registration - and got two runs in!
Many thanks to planner Paul Simmons for providing four excellent courses and a very efficient plan to aid me in putting the controls out. Paul was unable to be present on the day (this event had been rearranged from the end of January when the heavy overnight snowfall resulted in the event being postponed).
If anyone, who handed a map in at the end of their run, needs a new map sending to them please email me ().
