Report
Promise no cliches or schoolboy humour this week - no where's w*lly references.
No traffic delays but plenty of tingling legs for those who did not have a second layer. It is that time of year. Pete was able to produce some excellent technical courses utilising all extremeties of the Southern part of the Woods and surprise surprise finishing on the top of the hill. Also he found the carpets of bluebells which I am sure many, would have found awe inspiring.
On the Short Course Elspeth showed her return to form by claiming first spot from sister Flora and is now pressurising Holly for the title.
On the Medium Course, Yasmin's time was such that her minutes per km would have put her in 7th place on the Long.Chris and Lawrence are still strong contenders for the title and Joe's slight lapse gives hope to Dom & Luke as top Junior.Kate looks a good bet for the Women's trophy despite Rosie producing her best result of the Series.
On the Long Course, a LOG one - two again. Paul is looking determined to regain his title which gives Neil or Dean the chance to regain the Master's trophy.Good result for Dave O who utilised his local knowledge well.
Thanks to the kite collectors who had to endure the first rain of the season - was this the reason why Brian couldn't find his running gear?
Still no jokers played as yet - expect a rush next week at everyone's favourite venue Primrose.
