The playing fields and adjacent woodland is a small area but it still managed to provide a number of challenges for even experienced orienteers, lulled perhaps into thinking it would be easy. Even a bench caught a few out. A perfect area for this type of event. It was good to see a few newcomers taking part, hopefully they will be able to attend future events.
