'Twas very pleasing to see newcomers enjoying the introductory courses on a bright but windy day. And well done to all you others who bravely chose the Technical course. It was designed to give lots of route choice which will be confirmed or not when you put your details/routes on the website.

The fastest times were Emily on the White 7.05; on the Yellow, the Morrison Men took the lead in 15.50; Dominic led the Orange in a creditable 32.07:

The class leaders in the Technical were Brian Ward M50; Mary Carrick W60; Charlotte W20 (looking at the splits Charlotte was fastest on some of the legs); Mark Tyszka M75: Well done those and everyone else who will have totted up some points for the league. If you feel you can do better we will see you soon at the next SHALOL.

Those of you who ran the Technical might want to look at 'splitalyzer' on Route Gadget. A straight line on the 'absolute time' graph shows a very consistent run; note the top 5 runner's graphs and Amanda Ward's!

Thanks to all the helpers, we were ready for the participants on time and at the race end were cleared up by 4.20.
