FOUR NEW AREAS
ONE WEEKEND
You’ve probably heard of the Big Weekend in Edinburgh every January but we have the Brid Weekend in June (20 to 22), which will be a full on weekend of Urban, Sprint and potentially a Trail O.
Final mapping and planning are in place but potentially the Weekend Programme will consist of:
Friday (evening) – Sprint Maprun (West Hill)
Saturday (morning) – Sprint (New Pasture Lane Estate)
Saturday (afternoon) – Mid distance Urban (Brid Old Town and Priory)
– alternatively the Friday Sprint Courses could be run for interested parties
Saturday (evening) – provisional Trail O – North Shore
Sunday (morning) – Classic UKUL Event around Town and Harbour area
We have obtained the use of a Sports Centre (Gypsey Road)on Saturday and Bridlington RUFC (Dukes Park) on Sunday, both ideally suited and close to Event areas, with plentiful on site parking. Bar facilities open at both.
Entries open soon.
A convenient camp/caravan/campervan site is at Rudston a few miles west of the Event Centres, this is situated in a rural location with a pub only 600 metres from the site.
