HALO’s British and JK Champion Charlotte Ward’s busy International Schedulecontinues this weekend (May 21st/22nd) at the European Championships in Czech Republic.
Hopefully she will be competing in the Sprint Relay on Saturday in Bruntal, followed by the Individual Sprint competition on Sunday. Parents Brian and Amanda will be following closely but will still have time to compete at our own Willows and Freshney event on Sunday after watching the Qualifiers early morning and then returning home to watch the Final in the afternoon. Charlotte already preselected to represent GB again at the World Championships in Sweden later in the year has a busy summer with further World Cup performances, the British Championships at the Olympic Park in London and the World University Championships in Hungary.
Hopefully she will get a chance to run locally during the summer perhaps at some of the LUL,YUL or UKUL events scheduled in the area.
