A motley crew assembled on a very cold but dry evening for the Monday Club Night session. First off participants were sent into the northern half of the map to sample some Psi Loops – 2 courses that are exactly the same but planned such that the loops are taken in a different order, excellent preparation for the End of Term Event on 13th December! This was untimed and 4 x 1km courses were planned, but being a pair they were run head-to-head, all be it non-competitively ( supposedly!! ).
Next up in the southern half of the map a Butterfly Loop competition was held. It was back to basics with Pin-Punching being used as none of our Si guru’s were available on the night. 1 course with loops taken either A followed by B or vice versa. Maria and Emma ran together, completing but unfortunately, as controls were in the process of being collected, they didn’t get an “official” finish time…. sorry! Joe had problems in that he didn’t see the punches on his first loop, however all other competitors recorded clean runs :-

Thanks to all who turned out, hopefully having gleaned some very useful tips for the End of Term competition in 4 weeks time!
