HALO’s regular weekly orienteering Club Night in Beverley meets at the Girls Gymnasium in the Longcroft Upper School, Burton Road every Monday evening during the school term from 6.30 to 8.00 pm. The next club night is on 10 January.
The club nights, which are led by qualified British Orienteering coaches, are suitable for all ages, abilities and fitness levels and include the following activities –
- Group runs
- Circuit training
- Indoor and outdoor orienteering exercises and events
- Problem solving activities
HALO organises orienteering events throughout the year, all of which include courses for beginners as well as the more experienced orienteers. Details can be found by clicking on the Events page on this website. The next local event is on Saturday 8 January at Humber Bridge Country Park (Foreshore entrance) from 1 – 3 pm. No experience is necessary – everyone is welcome – our qualified coaches will be on hand to give advice and help to anyone who needs it.
