Pemanent Orienteering courses in Hull’s parks

HALO have teamed up with Hull CC during 2016 to provide eight permanent orienteering course locations in the city’s parks.  These are at Alderman Kneeshaw Recreation Ground, Bude Park Playing Fields, Costello Playing Fields, East Park, Noddle Hill Nature Reserve, Oak Road Playing Fields, Pickering Park and West Park.   Each of the parks has 3 options – short, medium and long courses.  Hull CC have produced an orienteering booklet featuring all 24 courses.

The permanent courses are aimed at families (although the long courses will challenge most participants) and it is hoped that many of those taking part will then want to extend their orienteering experience.
