Under the current BO and Government Guidelines we are pleased to announce the return of Orienteering in the HALO region with the Lincolnshire Poacher Series.

This is subject to change and the fixtures are still provisional.

Travel restrictions will be less restrictive from April 12th and Organised Sport is permitted from March 29th. COVID 19 safety measures will be in place.

So our Schedule will commence on Wednesday 14th April with a warm up registered Maprun Activity in Baysgarth Park in Barton on Humber. This gives all those who wish to try out ‘Virtual’ Orienteering the chance through use of smartphones or Garmin watches that can download the app. This will be replicated the following Wednesday with a similar warm up at Central Park, Scunthorpe. We may even be able to carry out our Post Run Anaysis at a suitable outdoor venue.

Then the 8 race Poacher Series will then commence on Wednesday April 28th at Hendale, parking at Grasby Bottom Crossroads (the logs should been removed to allow access).

Other provisional dates and venues are:

      Twigmoor May 5th
      Pillar May 12th
      Swallow Vale May 19th
      Normanby Le Wold May26th
      Weelsby Woods June 2nd
      Hemswell June 9th
Lodgemoor and Kingsway June 16th (also LCS)

Entry to all of these will be via our HERO system – NO ENTRY ON THE DAY. Fees to be determined at next Committee Meeting (end of March).

PLANNERS ARE REQUIRED FOR THE MAJORITY OF THESE ACTIVITIES AND EVENTS – SO IF YOU ARE ABLE TO PLAN PLEASE LET ME KNOW ASAP AT sbpetebtinternet.com
