Apologies for lack of information this season – less time now that I have retired.

This year should be similar to the past 5 years, with a few minor alterations.

Firstly thank you to the new planners – 3 events will be planned by first timers.

Secondly there will be 11 events – 7 cross country, 3 sprints and 1 in LOG land , incorporating the annual team competition, the Lincolnshire Challenge Shield. The Poacher points allocated at this event will be dependent on the format – but it will be fair and include only Poacher competitors.

Thirdly, our event on May 11th (Poacher 5 – Primrose Warren) is registered with the IOF for World Orienteering Day Status. To mark this, points scored will be recorded twice, as though there are 2 seperate events. So if you win, you will receive 50 points in both ‘events’ – so certainly an event you will want to do well at – especially for those planners wishing to play their Joker!!!!

Fourthly, due to the above, the best 8 out of 12 scores from the 11 events will count to determine the overall winners.

Fifthly, note parking venues at the events are subject to late change so, please check the latest details to find exact location.
