Last night at the Annual Poacher Presentations HALO members were given the opportunity to say goodbye to Malcolm and Fran (or should that be Fran and Malcolm). They have been active members of the club for over 25 years and during that time have helped,coached, planned, organised or controlled at nearly all HALO events (large or small). A remarkable achievement and level of commitment. Although they have tried to ‘escape’ for approximately 2 years their loyalty to the club and the sport have remained. Eventually they have managed to emigrate north of the border next week. We wish them all the best for the future and I am sure many of us will ‘bump’ into them in some distant forest in some distant event in the near future.

Malcolm and Fran were presented with card/champagne/flowers and a ‘special’ Poacher montage of maps and photos hastily and expertly prepared by Isoldt (in the back of her car during the Mausoleum Event).
