HALO 2-1-5 series (North Bank) – Longcroft School, Beverley, Oct 2nd 2010.

For the first ever 2-1-5 event, Brian and Charlotte had planned an impressive total of 7 (yes, seven – it’s like the BBC teleprinter, it deserves writing in letters!) courses.  Participants had a choice of four colour-coded courses, in addition to three maze courses.  These were no ordinary mazes, though – don’t come expecting a sub-60 second run when the Wards are planning, times ranged between 4 and 14 minutes for each maze.

Although a disappointing turn out for this new venture (we need to work harder to improve our publicity, suggestions and help always welcome), everyone present enjoyed the challenge of the colour-coded courses as well as the opportunity to race hard and fast around the maze.

Apologies to George but I seem to have deleted the White course results. (You won, George!)

Thanks to Brian and Charlotte for all their work in producing excellent courses, and to Amanda for managing the Start and to Brian S for excellent maps as always.

The next event in this series will be on the South Bank at the Oasis Academy, Wintringham, Grimsby on Saturday October 30th, starts from 1pm to 3pm. Click the links for further information.

The next North Bank 2-1-5 will be at Hull University on November 20th 2010.
