Situation as at December 9th 2010.

As at Thursday December 9th the conditions in the area have improved.  The Park itself is open, the car-park has been cleared and the access roads from the south (Scunthorpe) are now passable.  Some of the minor roads to the north are still passable with care.  Unless there is an unexpected deterioration in weather, it is expected that both the Saturday Night and Sunday Day events will take place.

Competitors should be aware of the extra effort required in running through snow.  The area is still covered and many of the paths are not as obvious as normal on the ground.  Competitors may wish to consider running a shorter course than normal to compensate for the extra effort required.

The event is on, come and enjoy a run in the snow!

Please note the Start on Sunday is now about 750 metres from registration (a pleasant walk through the deer park).  The Finish on Sunday and the Start and Finish on Saturday are both approx 100 metres from registration.

Course lengths Night: Introductory 1.6km; Short 2.2km; Medium 3.3km; Long 4.8km.

      Day: White 1.6km; Yellow 2.2km; Orange 2.7km; Light Green 3.1km; Green 4.6km; Blue 6.3km.
