After a hectic end to 2014 plus the NYD Event HALO are having a well earned ‘breather’ in January allowing other clubs to provide the entertainment.

However this will be short lived with plenty of Events planned in the forthcoming months.

      February/March : 4 Pub League Events (2 North & 2 South)

March 15th       : Compass Sport Trophy at Sherwood Pines (as many HALO members to compete please). Plus one of Helena’s Social’s.

March 29th       : YHOA Middle Distance Championships at Scardale and Knapton

April/May         : Series of Saturday Events

April  8th         : First Wednesday night ‘Poacher’ Event – 11 in Series on consecutive Wednesday nights.

      May 16th/17th : Hull-O Weekend – Sprint & Urban Events (UKUL Event)

June 11th        : Lincolnshire Urban League starts (3 organised by LOG and 3 organised by HALO) 4 Thursday evenings plus 2 Saturday mornings.

June 24th        : Lincolnshire Challenge Shield (hosted by HALO this year)

In addition there are numerous HALO League Events at various Yorkshire and East Midland venues during this period at weekends. LOG will be organising Winter and Spring Mid Week series’ as well.

On the National scene the JK will be in the Lake District at Easter and the British Champs are in the Forest of Dean 2 weeks later. The UK Urban League starts on January 25th in Crewe and runs throughout the year.

Of course there are the World Championships in Scotland in August. Similarly there are plenty of European events to attend – of which some HALOites I am sure will participate in.

And lastly there is also another HALO ‘Event’ on March 7th………albeit taking place in EBOR land!

So it currently certainly is a lull before the storm.

When Events are finalised they will be posted on the website in due course – keep your diaries free.
