14/05/2014 Poacher 6 Primrose Warren

Report
Good weather - good area - good planning - good courses - good competition - good results (for some) - good joker selection (for some) - good O
On the short good result for Bentley also for Elspeth who extends her lead in the League.
On the medium not so good for Lawrence who's first control 180 degree error was costly. Kate was back to her best and Chris and Yasmin as usual made up the places. Good results for Dom and Heather. Title very competitive and with a change in format in a few weeks it is good to see that it is still wide open.
On the long, once again only seconds seperated the 2 LOGites. The title similarly could go either way with 3 firsts and 2 seconds apiece.Good to see another LOGie - Ali - on her return from a 6 month jaunt in NZ, just for the LCS???.
Don't expect to see Mary C in the results next week at Swallow Vale - she's off to compete in the Icelandic OMM (Mountain Marathon). Fortunately at the moment there are 20 hours daylight so all the 80 plus minutes spent on the Poacher courses will be potentially nothing in comparison. Some more results for Chris to trawl through before producing next weeks HALO Newsletter.
