Ann and family would like to thank all from HALO and all the other Orienteering friends from other Clubs for all the messages and support that they have received in the past few weeks. They would also like to thank everyone who attended the funeral and the Celebration of Pat’s life.
This Celebration included tributes and memories from his two brothers, three sons and two of his grandaughters – all reflecting on his kindness, his humour and his inspiration and not forgetting his love for sport and his family. His popularity was exemplified by the numbers attending the funeral with the Crematorium completely full, not only all the seating taken up but also all the standing areas overflowing.
Ann also much appreciates how kind everyone has been and would like to thank all those who have made donations to the Yorkshire Air Ambulance. Ann and her sons will be presenting a cheque to the Yorkshire Air Ambulance on Wednesday (9th September) to the value of £1170 for all the money raised.
