The new Orienteering Season returns with an extremely busy fixture schedule in the next few weeks.
In fact during the 36 day period from 25th September until 30th October there will be no less than 11 HALO events!!!
Hope you have not booked any holidays during this hectic period!
The Autumn Pub League kicks off on Tuesday 25th September at the Hayride n Beverley and runs through on consecutive Tuesday’s until 30th October.
Note: the AGM Event at Hessle on 29th September will also be included in this Series – giving 7 x 45 minute Score Events.
Last year’s 2 new HALO Championships will also take place during this time :
HALO Urban Championships will be held at Attercliffe, Sheffield on 23rd September.
HALO parkrun challenge will be held at Humber Bridge CP on 6th October, then following this run there will be a Local O Event within the Country Park.
Note: unfortunately Charlotte will not be able to defend her parkrun title as she has a World Cup Race that weekend – at least it gives the rest of us a chance.
Then the climax of the Autumn will be the Gainsborough (Yorkshire?) Urban League Event on Saturday 20th October – a brand new area and brand new map.
Inevitably with such an intensive programme of events a large number of planners etc. will be required so if you can assist please contact Brian asap.
I hope you are all revitalised after the summer – it looks like you will need to be.
