HALO is running the Final of the East Riding Schools Orienteering Championships at Longcroft School in Beverley on Tuesday 20 April, starting at 4.15 pm. If you are not already involved, you would be most welcome to come along and give a hand or just to watch and cheer the children on.Over 650 children (mainly year 6 but some year 5s and below as well) from over 40 schools have taken part in the 12 heats held in the last two months which HALO has been helping to run. The top children from each of the heats have been invited to take part in the Final.This is a high profile event and at the moment we have 96 acceptances from 18 schools, with more to come from the 4 heats held last week. Hope to see some of you there.
