HALO parkrun Challenge Results

This year the HALO parkrun Challenge was held at one single venue – Humber Beridge Country Park.

Circumstances this year meant that only 7 members made the start line on a bleak and wet Saturday morning.

The Results were in grade/age % order

1. Jackie Edwards     74.14%     Time 26:33

2. Neil Harvatt          65.75%             24:49

3. David Jolly            61.74%             22:47

4. Mike Byron           61.62%             22:40

5. Peter Harris          60.43%             26:32

6. Alex Gymer          58.49%              28:40

7. Mary Carrick         55.89%             39:11

 

So Congratulations to Jackie who took the title – well desrved and winning by a large margin.

There was some head to head racing as Mike and David battled it out, with Mike being the first HALOite to finish. Also Jackie and Peter paced each other throughout with the latter taking the honours (Sure it was more than 1 Second!!)

Jackies turn to select venue next year – HBCP could again be the choice – hopefully there won’t be the puddles to negotiate.
